A Note From the Founder
How It Started
I've carried a camera on every trip I've taken for as long as I can remember. I was never good enough to sell my own work — and never really wanted to. But along the way I met photographers who were — people who'd wait days for the right shot; who had that rare ability to capture the feeling of a moment; and who live the kind of free, adventurous life their images promised.
The problem? Most of these photographers were so focused on creating that they never got around to sharing or selling their own work. There were so many gems left just sitting on hard drives. Middles started as a way to get more of their work into the world, and to help the people behind the lens keep doing what they do.
